Environmental Studies 2.0
Posted in Announcements
We are pleased to announce the official relaunching of the Environmental Studies program at Georgetown University! The program has a long history at the university, and with a rise in interest around environmental issues on campus we have revised the program offerings and structure. A program steering committee was appointed by Georgetown College Dean Chris Celenza, made up of members from across the university (College, SFS, MSB, NHS), and an interdisciplinary team of program co-directors (Martha Weiss and Randall Amster) were appointed. We have revamped the curriculum, including the development of new core and elective courses, and have many plans in the works for events and opportunities. Stay tuned!
